Bianchetto truffle

This truffle is known as “marzuolo”, since the collection period is in March. It is considered the “cousin” of the White Truffle for its similar external appearance being however extremely different and clearly identifiable. Surface is smooth, whitish or yellow and light brown.  Gleba has a reddish colour with white veins. It has a very garlicky taste
